Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe is a first generation entrepreneur, founded Macro Group of Companies in 1991, involved in business activities – Packaging Industry, Infrastructure, Exports, Technology and Innovation, Industrial Advisory, Finance and Investment in Industrial Expansion and Development, Marketing, Promotion, Branding, Event Management, International Cooperation and Collaborations, Joint Ventures, Government, Financial Institutions & Corporate Relations and other industrial developmental activities.

Mr. Salunkhe is a commerce graduate with post graduation in Business Management and International Trade.

As an entrepreneur, Mr. Salunkhe experienced various issues and problems of Industry and SMEs since 1982 related to finance, marketing, technology, infrastructure, communication, skilled manpower, logistics, connectivity with international market, lack of information of Government Incentives and Schemes. To address these issues and problems at the appropriate authorities and government agencies to find effective and viable solutions and practical support, Mr. Salunkhe founded Small and Medium Business Development Chamber of India (SME Chamber of India) and India International Trade Centre (IITC-INDIA).
